You really ought to post this on Facebook instead of here.
They have status updates and daily posts for you to share with the world.

I notice the trend here lately,as if this site has become a confession of sins /share the sadness/ seeking sympathy forum.

What reason did they give for a refusal?

There is an appeal process. Canada is pretty generous with visas  - unless they think you are moving in. Are you Vietnamese?

So you were trying to apply for Canadian visa? I am sorry I didn't know. I thought you wanted to extend visa so I gave you wrong information!

Have your employer write the Consulate, it's likely mistakes or confusion. Canada is built on immigration and VNese immigrants have done well there. Other countries can be immigration resistant.

Do you have friends over there, or relatives - even better?

I have a friend here who applied for a Visa. He filled in the Application and he was asked to attend for a 'clarification' interview. He was granted a visa. (His reason for going was to see wife and children, but he forgot to mention the fact!)

Reviews DO HELP, they might have assumed something that was not correct. Letters from prospective employers are very strong persuaders.

James

Citizenship and Immigration Canada reviews each visa application on a case-by-case basis. Their standards for issuance of all categories of visas, especially Tourist Visas, are much less rigid than many other countries. Many who have been unable to obtain visas for other countries seem to have no problem getting a visa for Canada.

In my own personal experience over 13 years of helping people here in Brazil I have only known one who was refused a Tourist Visa for Canada. The three primary reasons for visa refusal as follows:

1.  The applicant has failed to clearly demonstrate family / employment / social / financial ties to their country of origin that are sufficient enough to indicate that there is a really strong possibility that they will, in fact, return home following the visit.

2.  The applicant has failed to provide satisfactory PROOF of their financial sufficiency that indicates they have sufficient funds to support themselves for the entire duration of their stay in Canada.

3.  Someone has informed CIC that the applicant intends to enter or stay in Canada illegally. This is rather rare, but does happen.

It is more likely that you were refused a visa for either of the first two reasons. While there is an appeal process, it is much more likely that you'd be more successful if you examine your own situation to try and determine the factor (above) that probably resulted in refusal and then work on improving that aspect of your own situation, re-apply for a visa at some future date and see how it goes then. Usually no country will EXPLAIN why they've refused a visa application, they are under no obligation to do so.

Dear Sir Mr. Woodward,

Thanks for your info..i really dont know what to say or who will I ask for. I read some information already. I made my appeal letter just today. I truly believe it depends to the consulate who handles my papers on the time that its been processed..Thats his decisions and how can i defend my self? I dont know how to contact them either. I really need to cheers and pls make me laugh..Thanks to you..:-/!)).
When i made my appeal this is the automated replied:

Thank you for your message. If your message concerns one of the five issues below, this is the only reply you will receive. If not, you may receive a reply within 28 days.

1) Submitting an application:

Please see the web site of the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City at

2) Case status:

If you are enquiring about an application in process and it is still within our normal processing times<http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp> this is the only reply you will receive. Case specific inquiries may be submitted by webform<https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=ho%20chi%20minh%20city> or by email<mailto:hochi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca>. If you submitted your application through the Canadian Visa Application Centres in Vietnam<http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/vietnam/>, you may track your application online.

3) Refusals:

There is no formal appeal process if your application for a temporary resident visa is refused. Should you wish to re-apply, you should do so only if your situation has changed substantively or you have significant new information to submit.

James

As I said, work on changing what you guess caused the refusal of the visa and when you've substantially imporoved your circumstances then re-apply.
