Application for Business Visa this January 2015

Hi Everyone!

I would like to know if anyone of you know anything about the new Visa Law in Vietnam. Last year i applied for a multiple business visa and i got it without any problems, i asked my agency and he don't know anything about it yet. (how is it possible) -_-

I'm planning to fly back in Vietnam (Vungtau) this coming 24th of January.

Please let me know if you have any informations.

Hi iamunicaija, there is already a thread about new Immigration Law.

So far as I know , there are 20 types of visa. Longer temporary stay card (5 years) and 5 years visa for investors, 6 months for Viet kieu (before was only 3 months) ...

Tony concerning the 6 months for VK, have you found mention of this any where other than the news paper article I posted a link too a few days ago?

Here is the link from Gov that I read

" Visas and temporary residence period for the VN residing overseas for foreign passport holders visiting relatives VN raised up to 6 months (compared to 3 months old rules) "

Thanks for the link and the translation Tony. I still haven't found any direct reliable information that the old VEC is now replaced by the new category TT or DL
