Any useful contacts for EFL jobs in Taiwan??

Hi, my partner and I are looking for teaching english jobs in Taiwan. Most reviews say that people shouldn't trust the recruiters there, so just wondering if anyone knows of any good contacts for us?

Any information would be appreciated

We are looking at full time positions, we did look into Hess but were put off by the amount of bad reviews we found on them

Try to contact.Some of my friends teach there. they are more famous cram school in taiwan. But i am not sure how they work.
in my opinion, if you want to teach English in Taiwan, everything you need is only "patience". Good luck.

If not, I'd say wait until you get here so you can decide where you want to live.聽 Before I came I had this idea of living out in the country.聽 After two weeks here I knew it was Taipei or nothing.

Are you a qualified/experienced teacher?

If you are then you shouldn't have a problem finding work here.聽 It might take some time, though.

Chain schools aren't a bad idea, but don't sign up with them from abroad.聽 Come and have a look around first.聽 If you can't find anything, then use HESS as fall-back.
