Dears ,

Is it true that they stopped issuing work visa for expat ladies ? Is it so difficult to get job for expat ladies ?

Hi Dhanesh812,

Since January of 2014 it became official - that expatriate women will not be allowed to hold white-collar jobs - barring some select sectors.

If you read the various other discussions on the same topic you will get all the details that you require, as this subject has been discussed much already.

The only professional available visa clearances available for ladies are majorly "Lecturers", "Doctors" and in some rare cases, "Engineers". Rest of all the visa categories for expat women are closed.

P.S, above info is only for the professional visas, however domestic visas (Maids etc) are regularly processed.
