What brought you to China?

Thanks for the welcome!
I'm in China for a few reasons, I think. I spent a year and a half in Taiwan a few years back and was interested in returning to Chinese culture. I also needed a paying job after two years of volunteer work in North America - the job market there is a bit tight right now. China has given me an opportunity to both work and learn.
