Safety in Denmark

Post new topic

Christine

Hi,

We would like to talk about a sensitive but important topic: do you feel safe in Denmark?

How would you define the level of safety in the country?

Can you walk safely during the day and at night without any fear?

Do you think there is a high rate of criminality, social problems or tensions?

Share with us your insight on safety in Denmark and in the city you live in.

Thank you in advance,

Christine

Denmark is the safest country that I have ever travelled to or lived in. Especially for personal safety...there Are certainly incidents of pick pocketing and Even daylight robbery but i think material loss is not as damaging on Ones psyche as is personal injury like being attacked or raped or groped or Even stared at with indignity...so For me having lived in USA middle east and far east i would say Denmark is truly a pleasure to live in when it comes to personal safety...

Never felt safer than here in Denmark, specifically Copenhagen.

From the short time I've been in Denmark, I've felt very safe. I was floored by how people casually leave their bikes outside unsecured in my town. That's something you can't do in my hometown in the UK. It all seems a lot more relaxed here, therefore I feel relaxed.
