You can visit the Belgium forum and read the topics of your interest.
If you still have questions you can post it there.
All the best.
Hi yes i did
Its a bit confusing coz they said different side of stories
Thats make me worried...
The only person or institute who can give the answers is the immigration.
People answer based on their experiences and personal situation and that can give some other stories what you are looking for or, in your case, get confused.
If the website of the immigration said it takes between 3 and 6 months, it means you have to wait. Sometimes it can be done quicker, most of the time not. If you bring in all the required documents then its possible that you hear from them after three months.
You need to worry if you don't hear anything after six months. You can't change it. So be patient, relax and focus on more important things, like learning a new language? Dutch maybe?
Thank you for your response
we wanted to be together
And its makes us worried for the time frame..
i went to school already to learn duetch anyway your right
Wait abd keep calm
Thank you so much
It helped me a lot

hope this is of help to ya .
greets Perlie & Dirk.
Hi there,
We may not have the same visa but i was on dilemma before waiting for my spouse visa in u.k. but if you think that you submit the complete requirements then just relax and wait. For uk immigration i will wait for 3 to 6 months or longer for the visa processing but believe it or not my visa was issued within 15 days and i was over the moon that time and i was so excited to see my hubby and be with him. So remember the saying patient is a virtue... Just wait and i am sure your visa will come sooner.
Cheers,
Ethyl

Hi Sis I read your post just now. Good luck on your interview tomorrow. My Fiancé is coming here soon for us to get married.
We've been together for 1yr and 7 months. This will be the second time will meet then plans to stay here for 2 months so we could at least pass on the requirement of meeting or be together for atleast 45 days. All in all once he comes here and stay for 2 months plus the 2 weeks that I went there to visit him, it will be 74days that were together.

hi am belgian,i raived last yr on august 15 and we maried on october 7,i had al my papers alredy translated and oficialised in the Philippines consulate in belgium so we coold marie soon after my arival haha
if we soold want to go to Belgium my wife woold need the following documents :
birth certificate, nso certificate and maridge licens,al these soold be red ribbon or wil not be acepted in embassy.
it is not realy needed to be maried to join your fiancee in Belgium as long as the fiancee garantie your stay
for tourist visa the fiancee need to have an inkome of +800 euro a month for the last yr
for long stay visa the fiancee need an inkome of 1300 euro a month for the last yr to garantie your stay
this is to insure that you wil not clame benefits of the social sistem ,that's it
for more precise information it is better to look up the belgian embassy site were al information can be found
wish you al the luck on your future,
greets ,Dirk
also this ,the best thing for a belgium citisen to do is get in tuch with the Philippines consulate in Belgium ,there he wil be informed very wel wat to do and witch documents ar needed to bring a spouce or fiancee to belgium .
i did go first to the embassy of the Philippines but i soon changed to the consulate and was verry wel informed about wat to do and also getting my paperwork done .
Dirk

thanks for the information sir ,i would like to ask too ,he`s coming this sept to meet me ,is the embassy going to ask us how long we`ve been together?if we file fiance visa are they allow us even if our relationship is not that long ?or they need it to be 1 year or more ?
sir how long you guys been togther before getting marry?can we get marry even if our relationship is just months ?are they going to allow us to get visa even if we`ve known each other for just 3 months or more not a year ...kindly answer please because my boyfriend really wants me to be with him ,he wants us to be marry as early as next year ..we`ve been chatting since june 26 .
Hi there just send a message or call ****
Coz hardto explain here
Reason : for your security, please do not put your phone number on the forum.
Money can make it fast...hehe
i wonder what you meen with "money can make it fast '
trying to bribe any embassy personal woold result in no visa ever ,i woold advise strongly not even to think about that solution it wil not work and take away anny posibility for a visa in the future.
i know coruption works in the Philippines just as i know that it wil never work in the Belgian embassy hahahahahahahhahaa
yeah your right it wont work on other country like belgium ..are you and your girlfriend got married ?is it much easier if me and my boyfriend will get marry here too rather than marrying in belgium ..getting fiance visa i know its not easy
Hi if your going to get married here you both need to goto embassy coz you need to get the legal capacity for your fiancee
And need to under go for interview bring your cenomar coz she might ask for it
Then for fiancee it needs to be 1 year proof of your relationship

Hi there!
I read your post and interestingly enough I found a lot of similarities with our situation. My husband and I also got married last February of this year. We were together for 4 years before getting married. We quite have some similarities.
I lodged my application at the embassy last August 26,2015. I am currently waiting for the result of my application for a family reunion visa. Have you heard anything from yours already? I am very curious. Just like you my husband and I are also very anxious about the result. Do you mind sharing with me if you already heard anything about your application?
Thank you and I hope to hear from you.
