Hiking on Weekend or Holiday

Post new topic

Hi all! A long weekend is coming up (at least for some) on August 29-September 2. Does anyone has planned hiking or trekking activity? I'm thinking of going to Cat Tien National Park and/or Lang Biang in Da Lat. Anyone who wants to tag along or has a better idea? Just to hangout without any prejudice of each other, and be one with nature away from the stress of the city. Vietnamese and expats are welcome.

How long is the trek? Can you send some details.

Hi, it seems like Cat Tien has bad reviews so I'm thinking of just hitting Da Lat instead and hike in Lang Biang mountain which, according to reviews, only takes 6 hours going up and down, and seems like a pretty easy climb with beautiful scenery.

.

Then maybe visit other natural attractions. This is like a random thing, you or anyone can suggest any fun thing to do.

I don't think you should go to Đà Lạt at that time.Do believe me, on August 29-September 2, there would be a million people go to travelling spot like Đà Lạt, Vũng Tàu, Nha Trang.... and really hard to find a nice places to eat, nice hotels, hostel... with the right price without pushing, yelling, crazy things,... and superd crazy traffic jam also.
I travel a lot but I always advoi traveling at big time, like lunar new year, independent day... from my very bad experiences about that.
