Dear friends,
Can foreigners buy a local sim card at the airport? How much is it? Is it worth to buy a local connection to make calls to Sri Lanka & USA?

As an ex: If we will use roaming facility, it will cost 39,250 per minute to Sri Lanka (both in-coming or out-going call).

Can anybody kindly find out and let me know, how much it will be cost to call to Sri Lanka & USA from a Vietnamese connection?

Hi Mal,

if you need to make international calls, there a lot of ways to do. but I think it's better you should buy a local sim. it really cheap,聽 just $ 5 ( 100.000 VND ) /piece. I am not sure Local sim is available to sell in airport. You can buy it in mini retail stores. Then you easily register for 3G. Afterwards, yon can make call through viber, skype, with free cost
