American looking to reinvent himself, taking a break in Saigon

Post new topic

Hello everyone,

I've found myself in Ho Chi Minh City for just over one year now.  After contracting as a medic in the middle east for 2-3 years, I needed a break from that environment.  Through a series of events, I've landed here and have been pleasantly surprised with the ease of living in Vietnam so far.

I finished graduate school in international studies a few years back and would like to do something with my degree and work in the areas of development, human security, humanitarian affairs and other related areas.

I would enjoy connecting with other expats.  I've already made a number of friends, and I am always open to meeting new ones.  I'm a big fan of coffeehouses and open air pubs.  I'm looking for work and would be open to learning new skills.  That's about it for now.  Please feel free to connect with me.  :)

This is a REALLY late reply to your post.  I haven't logged on in a few years, clearly.  Thanks so much for the referral link!
