Hopefully my Korean gets good enough so that I can earn my keep teaching English and/or helping others prepare for vacations in the U.S., so any help I can get would be much appreciated. And of course, making new friends along the way is a bonus!

Good morning, I have just arrived in Seoul a couple of days ago after a spell in the middle east. I reckon I will be here a while working, certainly more than a year. My work is based in offices in the CBD and I am in a hotel for a while till I find my feet.
A bit of practical advice would be nice to help me settle in -
1 Does anyone use or recommend Uber for getting around the city, or a more local operator? (English language preferable).
2 Where is generally the best deal for drawing WON in cash from ATM's regarding Korean bank/ATM charges? My credit/debit card has great FX rates so I will draw WON rather than a home country equivalent converted by the ATM operator.
Thanks, look forward to chatting later.
Looks like english is the most used language... good...

Hi! I'm Malaysian and i'm hoping to move to Korea for TESL. I've got the Hangul down, as I'm almost fluent. The only problem i'll be facing is the food, as i'm not big on spicy food... Is the food there that spicy?
Hello everyone,
I'm Enrico, an Italian student currently enrolled in a Marketing Managenet master of science course at Bocconi University, in Milan. I've already had international experience - namely student exchange program at QUT in Brisbane, Australia, and business consulting internship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
During my time in Malaysia, in the first half of 2016, I've met a korean girl and we have been together since then. I went to visit her in Korea this August and we traveled around the country: Busan (her hometown), Gyeongju and Seoul. Since our relationship is serious and I really enjoyed Korea, I'm planning to move there after I graduate in December.
I stumbled across this webiste while looking for jobs in Korea and I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet people who already moved to Korea and to get some advice.
Kind regards,
Enrico Giuntelli
