OK. So, I have a whole load of pets. I need to know which pets are legal (I have exotics) and how to get them there, as well as approximate cost. I have a Galah Cockatoo, a Sun Conure, a Green cheek Conure, 3 cats, 3 axolotls, a Golden Retriever/ Newfoundland mix that weighs 115lbs, a moody Pomeranian, 2 mini pigs, and a hedgehog. I know. I like fuzzy, cute things, what can I say? Any help maneuvering the process would be amazing!

My only experience is with shipping dogs, and I highly recommend American Airlines Cargo, although if you are coming in the summer months you may want to use United, as they ship regardless of temperature.  I don't know which animals are restricted, but here is a link to AA:

There is a shipper  in the San Juan cargo area called AMERIJET and I have seen them readying horses for shipment, so they may accept more exotic pets than your standard airline. I don't know where they ship from, but you can learn more about their live animal policy here:

I hope it all works out for you!

Is there a list that shows exotics that are forbidden? I know some states don't allow hedgehogs, axolotls or mini pigs.

A couple of potentially useful documents:

I actually called to inquire about my domestic rats. After being transferred I spoke to someone who spoke a tiny bit of English and what I gathered is that yes, I can bring my rats, but each one needs a health certificate. Considering their short lives, high cost of shipping, the potential stress on them, and the hassle of health certificates, I am choosing to rehome them rather than bring them with.

There is a list. It is Appendix 4 (beginning on page 88) of this document: The list may have been updated in subsequent regulation, I do not know.

A quick glance suggest that some of your animals would be permitted, but not others. Looks like the axolotl, hedgehog, Galah's cockatoo, and green-cheeked conure are all prohibited.
