Ok aside from sticking a note on the classifieds. Does anyone know of any good places to find a second-hand motorbike in HCMC ?

Just walk down Phan Dang Luu Street between Phan Dinh Phung and Hoang Hoa Tham.聽 That street has both new (Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki dealership) and lots of used motorbike stores.聽 After just an afternoon walking down Phan Dang Luu you will probably see every type, model, and year of motorbike on the road today.

I'd recommend just buying a new Honda from a dealership with a warranty. You can get an Alpha or S100/S110 for under $800 which is a great deal considering it will last you forever. If you buy used, just like anything else, you risk not knowing about any potential problems, sometimes the repairs will cost more than the bike itself. Good luck!
