Recommended areas in the North

When we move to Mauritius next year we will be based in the North. I'm familiar with some areas like Grand Baie and Pereybere but want to know of other areas I should look at that would also be suitable if our daughter is at school at Northfields.

We are in the same situation, would love to know about different areas also and why ?
Also hoping for Northfields for our kids. How old is your daughter ?

Hi Cara

She is 11 turning 12 in March next year. I am familiar with the Grand Baie/Pereybere areas as we have holidayed around there, although obviously you look for different things when you move permanently.
I am waiting to hear back from Northfields as I understand there is a waiting list. We will put her name down and then move as and when she has a position. Are you also looking at the North? How old are your kids?
