I have just joined in this forum, my name is marrissa, i am from indonesia, I will be relocating to oman for following my husband's job in nizwa on February 2011. My husband comes from saudi arabia. I have heard a lot about visa system in oman and read a lot about it. I understand if someone who get family visa, and get the sponsorship from his husband are not allow to work in oman. even my husband already told the same thing. I would like to know is there any way for me to be able working in oman? i am electrical engineering, who has worked in oil and gas sector for about 3 years. Then it would be hard for me if i just stay at home. I adapt to work and have small fashion business in Indonesia.
I have read one time but i forgot the source , that there is way for this issue, but that would be difficult. Pls give me further explanation about this thing?
