Can I use a UK tv in Malaysia?

Post new topic

Scrasey2

Hi all,

I am just sorting which items are being air freighted to Penang and what is going in storage.

We have read in the Crown literature that Malaysia tv's are PAL which is the same as in the UK.  I am presuming this means my Samsung LCD tv which I bought in the UK will work in Malaysia along with my dvd players (which are multi-region)?

Please can anyone confirm this.

Thanks
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

The samsung TV will work in Malaysia. It will not make any difference. For the latest model the manufacturer has set the compatibility for all the countries.

Buzz me if you face any difficulties.

Cheers !!

Thanks very much Param!

We didn't really want to sell it or put it in storage as we've only just bought it so very pleased to know we can take it.

Sarah.

Hi Sarah , It would work vice versa , No problems , we use PAL & NTSC .  Just also to inform you that electronic items in malaysia are rather cheap and worth the money... e.g tv, dvd players, camera's and Computers , reason being malaysia manufactures  this items .
