brazil overstay stamp

anyone ever seen the dreaded "overstay" stamp from brazil?...
i just heard from someone that overstayed, had to pay, but didn't get any special stamp...

No big deal you pay the overstay amount and all is well.

I don't mind paying, i just don't want any "overstay" stamps on my passport (for the sake of applying for visa in other countries which go through your passport...)

I have heard they take your money and stamp your passport and you are on your way. I don't know if they use a special overstay stamp or not. Other countries will probably not even see anything different. Whatever they do is not in your control if you have overstayed.
