is it possible to get a work permit from the South African embassy in Zambia before finding job in South Africa聽 under critical skills visa?

Hi Lisita,

When applying for a work permit when you are outside the country you must show that you have a job; they will in no way give you a permit to come look for a job in a market that has over 40% unemployment rate.

Secondly, I suspect that the Critical Skills Visa has been changed to something else and whatever that might be, it is very rigorous a process...you must have a real critical skill, meaning it is needed and no South African citizens have it.
