Hello guys,

Any recommendations where I can have my throat check? I have a swollen tonsil for months now, sometimes painful. I've been to different vn hospitals and doctors but none of them really cured me. I even have myself checked with gp in fv saigon (ent not availale at that time) but he says that my throat is normal tho I can see a white spot on my one swollen tonsil, now my other tonsil is starting to hurt too. Please help

Hi Le,

1. Pls check with FV hospital and book a consultation with dr. NGUYEN QUANG DAI - head of ENT dept. HE can communicate in English with you.

2. Check with private clinic of this dr ( ENT private clinic - dr NGUYEN QUANG DAI) at this add : Address: 174 Ngô Quyền, 5, 10, Hồ Chí Minh | Phone: 028 - 35073625

3. You can also have a visit with Sai Gon Internation ENT clinic - a private clinic - at 9 TRINH VAN CAN , DIST 1. (). This is a private clinic specializes in ENT with good facilities. But I am not sure this clinic  can communicate well at any time in English.

You can either select option 1 or 2 or 3 depend on your choice and your time.
Based on your complain, you may suffer from Tonsillitis. Depend on the real examination, dr may prescribe you antibiotic + anti-inflamatory drugs + pain killer. Then, depend on the tonsil, an operation can be planned.  During waiting for visit to dr, you can take EFFERALGAN 500 - 1000MG ( paracetamol) depend on your weight and severity of pain and fever to reduce the pain and the fever.

Cheer and wish you get better soon.
