What visa will I need

Hi all.聽 My girlfriend has been offered a job in Vietnam in August at a school in Ho chi min.聽 I will be going with her.聽 I may look to get some work in Vietnam but I dont need to and could live without the work.聽 I could also work remotely for UK clients of mine so I dont really need to "Work" in Vietnam.聽聽I've tried to work out what visa I need but its a bit confusing.聽 Can I apply for a temporary residence permit as my girlfriend will have a work permit.聽 Or will I just need to keep extending tourist visas?

Any help would be amazing thanks.

Hey...

Unfortunately, the only applicable visa you will have to apply for is 3 or 6 months tourist visa.聽 Alternatively, you can exit the country into neighbouring countries such as Thailand, Cambodia for a few days and reapply again for a new visa on arrival.

There is a visa specifically for spouses and children of holders of work permits and Temporary Residence Cards.聽 I can't get the search function to work right now but it has been described here.聽 Look for a post by Bluenz.
