Hi, I am聽 NZ European recently retired, currently living in New Zealand. I am thinking of flying to Kuala Lumpur and buying a used car (Toyota Landcruiser/Prado or Harrier) to then spend some time travelling through Malaysia to Thailand and wherever it takes me . Adventure before Dementia
If I go to a car dealer in Kuala Lumpur am I able to buy a car ?
I would not be looking for finance and can pay cash.
Am I safe to buy from a car dealer ?

Unfortunately we can not relate your topic to New Zealand forum. You should ask this at a Malaysian forum though.

In general, buying a car from an AUTHENTIC dealer is considered as safe. Many good dealers around the world generally provide warranties, however, they're bit expensive though. Best of luck.

I was told once that I should slow down and I would go faster.
I needed the question answered so joined this forum and asked the question and realised after I had submitted it, that it was the Auckland forum I had asked. Stupid I am. I have since asked in the Malaysian forum and are getting answers to the question, Thanks,
