Single Entry Visa

Hi, Gravitas.

I used to be an expat in Malaysia and now I found a new job again there. I got Stage 1 approved already. Now, I'm planning to fly to Malaysia as a tourist so that my employer can process the visa stamping. Last time, my employer processed my multiple entry visa anf single entry visa at the same time in Malaysia. When I got my passport back, I got two stamps. One for the single entry visa with text 'Journey Performed'(since I'm already in Malaysia) and one for the multiple entry visa.

I'm thinking of doing this same process instead of getting the single entry visa from my country since it will take longer time. Is this option still available?

Btw, I'm from Indonesia and the visa processing above happened around Sept 2017.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Nationals that ordinarily do not require a visa to enter Malaysia are not required to get a VDR to enter for work purposes. The stage 1 approval is sufficient

Thank you very much for the info! :)

The exception is if the EP is Category III so salary under Rm5k. In this case a VDR is required
