What happened to Cajasol bank in Sabinillas?

Post new topic

Hi there! I used to live in Sabinillas several years ago and had a bank account with the Cajasol in Calle Ramon y Cajal, 4. However, I'm having problems finding their website to log in to my account. Does anyone know what happened to these guys and if I can access my account somehow, maybe through whichever bank took over? I don't have my bank card anymore and I'm living back in the UK, but I'm hoping if I can find out where to log in I can at least retrieve my login details. Thanks in advance. :)

Nope, definitely Cajasol:

Cajasol bank was one of the four banks that merged to form Banca Civica.

Banca Cívica, S.A. was a bank created as a result of the European debt crisis as an emergency response by the Spanish government regulatory authority "Institutional Protection System" (Spanish: Sistema Institucional de Protección, or SIP) that comprised the savings banks of Caja Navarra, Caja Canarias, Caja de Burgos and Cajasol. It became part of Caixabank on 3 August 2012, at which time shares for the company ceased to be quoted.
