Post new topic

Trini/Swede

Hi .....I HELP SUPPORT A FAMILY OF FOUR(4)...mother, her kid son, her daughter+her kid daughter:: I send on average $300 monthly, which at today´s exchange rates gives 30,500kshs::  Based on what they tell me, this sum goes a heck of a very long way for them:  Both kids are at school, mother and daughter scramble with "part-time" jobs, when jobs are available: I have regular email contact and video chat contact with them all...(all 4):
The family live at MALAVA VILLAGE..... i have no idea about the difference in the cost of living between Malava and Nairobi::   Thank You::

Hi, Malava is a village in western Kenya and things are very cheap there, the amount you are sending can feed a family in Nairobi

I agree, that money wouldn't go far at all in Nairobi.  Its an expensive city, even by African standards.
