I had posted on the day that i saw the call for recruitment in ministry of manpower.
Plz google and apply.
Interview is expected anytime. they have intimated it.may be help in late June or july.

Thank you for the response. But I wish to know if there is any option (such as Skype) to attend the interview from outside India. Are there agencies for the same?

As far as i know, there s no option of skype interview. i got a mail stating that interview dates r probably between July 12-15 at Delhi and 18-21 at Hyderabad. From Mathew placements.
I myself dont plan to travel to attend.
I got selected last year but since no vacancy, i didnt join.
So its a doubtful process. In case u r already in Oman, try applying for private universities in ur place.
Because even if u r selected thru this interview, place of work is intimated only when u get ur visa.

Consultant is not revealing the final date.

No Difa, but they will inform just two weeks in advance.
Last year it was on 16 and 17 july.

Ok Arun. Can you give me a detailed idea on how the interview session will be??

Yeah, its a technical interview. U need to have given at least 10 subjects that u have taught in the CV. They choose one or two and ask questions.
When i was filling up my visa form, other candidates were modifying their CV including more subjects in it.
They ask definitions, examples, real time applications.
Whether u r from IIT or Anna University is of no significance to them..even if u have impact factor journals ..they didnt seem to care..ur panel sees ur performance at the interview.
They rate ur performance out of 100. Communication, presentation skills, depth of knowledge and understanding, attitude etc r the points.
I didnt expect all this last year..my panel was quite strict. I am relating what happened at my interview..others can share theirs.
But when i was waiting outside ..in just a few mins, the strict person came out, congratulated me and left my performance sheet with the recruits. Thats when i knew the points on which i was evaluated.
Only 8 out of 70 were selected last year, i was told...all.branches together.
They tell u at once whether u r selected or not. But u get a posting only when there is a vacancy.
