Accommodation in Poland: scams you should look out for

Bhavna

Hi,

Committing to renting or buying accommodation when youÂ’re new to or have not moved to Poland just yet is always a stressful endeavour. Would you like to help us in putting together a handbook of what to look out for when house hunting in Poland?

What are the most common scams in Poland?

What are the red flags to look out for when scanning through adverts?

Is there a list of registered or accredited landlords or real estate agencies in Poland?

What authorities should be sought should one come across an accommodation scam?

Please share your experience,

Bhavna

1:There are no scams if you are wise enough.
2:No red flags, until one is stupid enough.
3:Tons of agencies and no such thing as registered landlords(never in a western world)
4:It depends what kind of scam it is involved? Racial,Financial or harassment.Anyway solution toall is get a lawyer and sue.
