No dream job nowhere in the world, even if you have a super degree and a significant experience. No great need of house maids in Poland. We generally  do the chores and the cooking ourselves.

Okay i need this job

GuestPoster745

No jobs here if you don't speak Polish.

GuestPoster745

Unless you are an IT specialist, very few jobs offered here  to non Polish speakers.

Hi,
Iam Brigid, hope everyone is fyn, after this crazy covid19,just joined here and the reason i really need to migrate after searching i got several agents but they ask too much money of which i don't know if they are legit or scammers, kindly if you know any legit agency let me know please or employers who is willing to employ or any connection really will appreciate. Thanks in advance  and stay safe.

Ask the Polish consulate in your country. It is the only legal way to get a visa or a work permit.

Sorry but the sad stories about how much one needs a job might be true - but are irrelevant. To immigrate to the EU/Schnegen one needs highly demanded skills and educational and usually to speak the local language. Being an honest, hard worker and willing to do anything are not bad characteristics - but not what qualifies one for a possible visa.

What about if you wish to be self employed?

I plan to study The CELTA course during my allowed 90 days. Is an intensive 4 week course over Zoom because The British Council Pl is not doing face to face.

It’s a recognised legal worldwide qualification to teach English. Once qualified I intend targeting the private market and therefore will be self employed.

Despite numerous ping pong emails with the Polish Embassy, they don’t seem to comprehend what self employed means!!

Any ideas place

Rather contact the British Embassy or the British Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.
Self-employment seems to be fairly easy to arrange in Poland.
There is a strong demand for CELTA teachers here. Language schools of all levels of seriousness just about everywhere in town. But salaries are quite low. Too many Anglo-Saxon backpackers offering their services for next to nothing!

Richard.

On that subject of self employment. I’m still in the UK and the rules have now changed. 90 days visa free. I’ve been in contact with The Polish Embassy but the girl emailing me cannot grasp what self employed is. It’s like a stuck record. She keeps saying I will need letter from an employer.

Please tell, is this task a lot simpler to apply for once in Krakow?

GuestPoster745

Again, ask your own authorities in Warsaw.
I had missions in more than 35 countries plus a couple of long expatriation and never bothered to contact any Embassy.
You might offer your service to any English language school through internet and after a while become self-employed when your situation is cleared.
NB: Local administration often speak a very limited English. Living here without knowing Polish can be a problem.

Thanks for the reply Richard. I can speak the language to get bye in everyday life as I’ve been to Krakow over 20 times.

To be honest I’ll just go. Get settled and study for my CELTA certification and go from there. I’ve two very good polish friends who can help me if needs be✌️

The term I hear used here is B2B (Business to Business). If you are self-employed you usually need to be registered as a business here or somewhere else. There are different types in Poland each with different pros and cons (and legal implications): The 'simplest' business, would be that of a Sole proprietor (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza).
