Do you feel homesick?

Post new topic

I have been a month and a few days old in Kuala Lumpur but a day hardly passes without my feeling homesick. I have wondered if this is because I have got nothing doing at the moment or just because of having left loved ones at home. I wouldn't know if any other  person here feels as much homesick as I feel.

Yes me too I am Riyadh for one week. some times when i am alone doing nothing i feel my breath is going to stop. May Allah give us strength to face the reality that we are alone.

Amen, Roger. How is Riyadh. Surely, it was He who brought us to another country, He will help us all. Thank you for your comment

You are absolutely right. What do we do? I suggest we try as much as we can to adapt, maybe in no time at all, we will have had many friends here to make us feel at home

Hey i know how it feels when u miss ur loved ones but its pretty natural to feel homesick. it took nearly 40 days for me to settle down as well and again its in ur mind. Try and hang out with friends ... keep urself busy the more u spend time doing nothing the more homesick you get. The key is 'Keep Busy'. ;)
