Visa Issues

Hi! Please I need advice
I'm expecting my baby to be delivered here in Brazil beginning of next month.
My husband will like to join me during this big day but he does not have a visa to Brazil.
Do you think if the doctor who is taking care of me or the hospital writes an invitation letter he will get a Visa?
What other options do we use so he can join me?
Need your help
NB## I am here on a tourist visa

There are Visas for Dependents, but also states dependent must travel under same visa of spouse.
You are under a tourist visa so he may also need same.

The easiest method for your husband to be admitted to Brazil before your child is born is for him to apply for a tourist visa.  The website of the Brazilian Embassy in Accra states explicitly that letters from Brazilian parties will not help this process.
If his application for a tourist visa is rejected, then AFTER your child is born, he can apply for a temporary visa for family reunion, a VITEM XI, based on being the father of a Brazilian citizen.
Those are the only ways I know of.  Good luck.
