I would like to know is hepatitis b carrier allows to work in Qatar or this condition is only for selected categories like restaurant,聽 nurses and medical professionals.

I don't understand these hep b medical discrimination laws in the gulf.

For example, in the west people infected with hep b are fit for work and there isn't a high infection of hep b or discrimination because of it.聽 I think less fear and more education is needed for the virus.

There are now vaccines available, and most people infected were only children due to various things such as medical contaminated equipment.

Which their immune system was weak to fight it. However, luckily we have vaccines now and 90% of most adults clear this virus without vaccines as their immune system is stronger.

I can only hope that this law changes in the future, as it's not good to ban people because of hep b which we now have medical vaccines and medicines for today.

For Hep B, there is a vaccine available.聽聽Children get it as part of the routine childhood vaccination programs.聽 For adults, if you are 40+, there is a chance that the vaccine wasn't given to you in childhood so you can take it now over a 6 month period.聽聽Usually protection for adults lasts for 15-20 years after which you need to take a booster.

Just go and ask for an Anti-HB test - this looks for antibodies to Hep B in your blood.聽 If the level is non-existent or low, you need to take the vaccine or booster as the case may be.聽聽
