I just saw your post and realized that you are not in Cambodia anymore. I am new here and I am not an expat but I’m here to seek advice as I saw your post about homeschooling and I found your post. If you have any group of mother who are doing a homeschooling too please let me know.

We travel to Cambodia usually for 2 to 3 months every year.  Our 4 & 6 yr old are homeschooled (where ever we go).  We develop our teaching/learning objectives and have daily "lessons".  They start out with some combination spelling/handwriting & math on a white / black board.  During the day, we take advantage of the situations and travel that we find ourselves, and do life skills etc...  In the evening, it's reading and writing time prior to bed.  When complete, they get to watch their choice of whatever educational videos that they desire, followed by whatever other type of videos that they desire (usually for a couple hrs).  Then off to bed.  This cycle repeats pretty much everyday unless and until interrupted by travel, or some other happening in our daily lives.  They are a bit more advanced then most children their ages due to our program.  As far a whether Cambodia has any requirements, I am not really sure, as we travel, and are "World Schoolers".  I do keep photographic records of their progress with dates, and have all their handwriting journals.  Let me know what you think, and if you have suggestions or info that would be good to know.

are there any homeschooling curriculum out there that someone would recommend?  something they use or have used?  i had a pretty rough first day experience with Zion Intl School today in which I will share in another forum.  certainly, the value of the school & admin is not represented in the amount of money i shell out.

Yes!  check out invictus.family online international school run by Invictus International School.  Or you could go to the school campus, they are offering early bird discounts when you enrol now!  The Teachers are all fully qualified (not just TEFL certificate teachers like a lot of "international" schools use in PP), the campus is brand new so great facilities.  Class numbers are low so social distancing and cleanliness is excellent.

your reply is irrelevant.  i am looking for homeschooling rather enrolling my kids in a traditional school.

'Invictus Family' is an online school - it is an international school run purely online for students at home (in various countries).  I mentioned the on-campus school too, in case you were interested.
