Hello All,

I am a worker in Mauritius and hold an occupation permit.

My fiance is coming here so we can get married.

Please can I apply for a dependant occupation permit just after marriage?

You will be able to apply for a dependent permit for your spouse.

Hi,

If your future wife intends to stay in Mauritius, she needs to apply for the dependent pass (visa).

She will be allowed to stay in Mauritius until the expire of your occupational permit.

During the period of her stay in Mauritius, she will not be allowed to engage in any commercial activity to gain any economic benefits. (means not allowed to work)

In case the dependents wish to work in Mauritius, they need to apply either for a Work Permit or an Occupation Permit, as the case may be.
