Bringing New Born Into KSA

Hello Members,

My wife is on valid Saudi Iqama (Independent, Working Visa, Not under my sponsorship). She is pregnant and want to visit home country (on Exit / Re-entry Visa) for baby delivery and intends to come back to KSA afterwards. I want to know what is the process in this regard. I read somewhere if she can come back within one month after baby delivery then there is no need to have a baby's passport / iqama and baby will be treated as on her mother's iqama and we can process for baby's iqama after arrival. I shall be grateful for valuable knowledge in this matter.

Thanks.

If i remember it right, arrival visa is applicable to new born outside KSA until 6 months but should have a passport.
It happened to my boy, we brought him on his 4th month. My wife is my dependent.
