Hello, I am a medical student in Tunisia, and as far as I know, only military doctors are allowed in southern Tunisia, near the Libyan borders. You can try to contact doctors without borders to get more informations. Maybe they can assign you somewhere. I'm afraid that your medical license is not valid. This means about a year and a half or two years of internships in local hospitals in order to assure an equivalent and valid license. I am not sure if this procedure applies to volunteers. I hope it was helpful.
I wish you the best of luck.

My future son-in-law has located me a two bedroom apartment in la Mars about ten minutes from the beach. I'll be relocating in March. Anyone there as an ex-pat' keep in touch, I want to meet up asap. I'm American and retired although I am active in the nautical archaeology field.
