Preferred CV Format

Hi everyone.

I've been having some difficulty finding an official source that outlines the preferred CV format for applying to jobs in Bahrain. The sources I have found online are either outdated, or providing conflicting information.

Points I found to be interesting were:

CV should be between 2 and 3 pages. Short CV's are not preferred.
Photo is mandatory (different sources may disagree with this).
Must include personal information such as DOB/age, marital status, gender, nationality, and in some sources passport number or GCC number.

I want to have my CV tailored for employers in Bahrain, but I don't want to accidentally share too much personal information if it is deemed unnecessary.

Would love to hear what others have to say about this, and if there are some good places to look at for sample CVs for Bahrain.

Hello,

Bahrain employers do not follow any pre-approved Cv format as far as i know. Keep it simple and to the point and if employers needs more information then furnish it

As above.聽聽There is no specific format.聽 And I would not put a picture.

In my own CV, I don't have a picture nor do I have personal details.聽聽I share them on request of course but never put on the CV.聽 No issues in the 10 years I have been in UAE, Bahrain and Saudi .

I guess that explains why I couldn't find any good reference for CV formats. I like the suggestion of providing the extra info on request - so I will do that instead.
