Based on the available information, you can travel to India but cant return to Malaysia until the government decides to allow foreigners into Malaysia. I have a few expats in my company who need to travel to India for family reasons but decided not to travel for the same reasons.

You can go and once you are there, make an application for entry. You can get the approval in 2-3 attempts. It has happened with few people I know. They were able to go and comeback. EP1 also went and came back. However, if you have dependents, they are very unlikely to get entry approval. So leave your dependents here only. Thats what I can suggest based on my exp in my circle.

i have tried 6 times for the exit and entry, and only 1 time i got the approval for exit, i never got the approval for entry. I am not sure what would happen if i leave and apply from there, my family and kids are also back home. Anyone got successful exit and return approval with  how many tries?

Hi,

I saw on the immigration site.

:"The applicant is allowed to exit
Malaysia and MUST return within
SIXTY (60) days from the issuance
date of the letter

What happens if you exceed the 60 days?
