Short term rental and Flemish classes in Leuven

Post new topic

jomarywilson

Hi Everyone
My name is Joanna. My family (husband, myself, and two boys aged 4 and 1yr) is relocating to Leuven from Cape Town, South Africa in May/June this year.

Ideally we would like to rent a furnished house for a month or two to give us a chance to find a longer term rental that would suit us. Can anyone give suggestions re: finding short term rentals?

Secondly, we will be enrolling our son into a local school but want him to have a grasp of Flemish before school starts in September. Can anyone suggest Flemish classes for small children in Leuven? And are there specific schools which may support his transition better?

Thank you all for the help. Much appreciated

Best wishes
Joanna

Hi Joanna,

Welcome to our forum,

For a short-term rental, the easiest way is to go through an internet platform like AirBnb or other.

Regarding schools, this is a question that comes up regularly. Therefore, I encourage you to read the old discussions which can be filtered with the magnifying glass located next to your avatar.

Here are some websites that might help you.

Thank you for your advice and for those sites. I will take a look.

AirBnB or a serviced apartment is the best way to go, if you are really lucky you will find a minimum short let for 3 months.
