Verification report from RMI after completed verification

Post new topic

jack_1

As I need a verification report for my degree, I applied for one at RMI.

At the 10th working day after the application, RMI told me that both education verification and accreditation verification has been completed for my degree.

It's been 8 working days after that and they still haven't sent me a report.

Does anyone know their process of generating a report? I'm curious if it is a very complicated process that one organization cannot finish given 8 working days. 🤦ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸

I'm very disappointed by thier service.

If anyone had the same experience, please share how long it took for you to finally get a report.

Thanks

Hi any update on your case? I'm having similar situation here. and so difficult to contact them.
Thanks

EP-APR8

My immigration consultants applied for RMI verification for my master's as the university name changed due to a merger. The whole process took 5 business days. and at the end of the  6th day, I received a report from my immigration consultants asking me to save the report.

Can anyone suggest me which agency is better to get documents verification for EP and also how much time it will take.
Data flow, RMI etc.

Shekhz

Depends on which country you want the documents to be verified in- could you clarify? For instance (my experience), Dataflow and another agency recently had mentioned that for educational degree verification from Indian Universities, time taken is 30 working days (give or take), owing to the pandemic/ lockdowns. Whilst in some other countries, they can be as swift as a week utmost (see EP-APR8’s comment above)- took just 5 days.

Hi Shekhz, which agency would you recommend for Edu background check. RMI/ Avaanz seems everyone is peeved with eecheck at least

Shekhz

Hi- depends which country is your education from. If India, I would urge you to try Data Flow, they have offices in NCR, Kerela and Hyderabad. If you call and speak to them, they push for things.

RMI and Avaanz as next in order.

Hope this helps.

Thanks to all Forum members many thanks for various advice and suggestions helps a lot. Have applied to agency the verification process seems can be completed in a short time if everyone (Agency, my institute, myself) co-operates and work together.

I am facing a frustrating kind of to and fro situation with my education verification.
The agency says they have emailed my institution for verification check but will not share the mail id from which sent or mail id to which they have requested this verification.

On the other hand my institution say they have not received any request and to advise them mail id from which request has been sent

-- Any member faced this situation
-- Did your verification agency share mail id or the mail at least screen shot of the mail that they claim to have sent to your institute.
-- After all we are a paying customer for the agency (a private entity) yet they treat us so shabbily just due to the monopolistic nature of them four only being authorized to do this job. Are they not obliged to share all details
-- How to solve this problem any suggestions

Hi,

I am facing the same Issue with Dataflow, As my bachelor degree verification is still pending where as my master degree is verified already.

When I follow up with dataflow they said they are constant touch with university & they have already mail to university. But when i visit university & check, they said clearly nobody in touch & no email received from dataflow.

After sending a mail asking for the details then they said they are try to contact concern official & waiting for confirmation for mail id.

All waste of money & time.

Hi,

I'm facing a terrible experience with RMI. I applied for bachelors verification (from one of the institutes in India ) and there no progress from their side. It is been 1.5 months now.

Whenever I inquire regarding the verification status they always say that they will get back to me after discussing it with their internal team which they never do.

After sending continuous inquiry mail, now they are saying that they have not done the payment yet with the institution(my institution do the verification service for some minimal amount).

It is so frustrating to hear this from RMI after 1.5 months. I never recommend RMI.

kaushikpal12

Just curious what is the amount and who finally told you that RMI has not paid up

rey619

When I inquire after 3 weeks, RMI said that they are having some issues with the payments. Thereafter whenever I inquire regarding the verification status they always say that they will get back to me after discussing it with their internal team which they never do. Recently I asked regarding the payment issue and now they(RMI) are saying the payment is still not done due to some transaction issue and they are not transparent about the issue/process.

The amount my institution asking for verification service is INR 500.

Preserve the communication and send to MOM

Perhaps to show what kind of impossible task they have put us to achieve with the kind of organisation they have selected for the verification process

I understand it is our responsibility to ensure that our credentials are good, correct and robust however when one goes through the process it seems as if we have done some bad thing / wrong thing having studied at a particular place.
I have read and understood the background why these check but can’t reconcile why I need to be stereotyped and why we need to pay for the sins of a group of people who are unscrupulous using fake degree.
If MOM makes this a must for all application process we would have been prepared well in time. At least MOM can make the agency meet face to face with candidates to iron out logistics and procedural issues with the verification. I hope MOM gets feedback on what we face as I know Singapore government and their organisations are very people centric and efficient from my experience. It seems they may not have enough or any feedback of the agency related harassment that many are inflected to.

After sending a couple of aggressive emails asking about my verification status and the reason for the delay, my case was transferred to the Client Services Manager of RMI.

Today I got the verification report done :). RMI apologized for the delay.

kaushikpal12

Congratulations you must be very relieved
I hope my troubles get over
Who assigned you or how you got assigned a client service manager. Possible to share his name so that I can request also

rey619

For the past two days, I have been sending multiple aggressive emails asking about my verification status and the reason for the delay(3-4 replies per day). I think this caught the Client Services Manager's attention and I believe he himself took over my case(not sure).

In my case, there is no progress for the past 1.5 months.
Applied on: 7th April 2021
Received the verification report on: 20th May 2021

Sorry, I'm not willing to share the Client Services Manager's name here.

@Kaushik- why don’t you resort to social platforms and seek their response, just a thought and a suggestion? The social power pushes for better customer grievance resolutions, in majority cases. Use Google search to find who’s who :)

kaushikpal12

You are correct and I thought of that path only here I am not really certain of the correct Protocol of such a approach. After my present troubles are over I will write a detailed report for the forum will possibly help many. I even intend to send my complete experiences to MOM. Only aspect stopping me is the angle that it is me ( rather my certificates) being verified seems as per norm they probably need to maintain some arms length from me and really don’t want to step on their tail now. But I will take this up sufficiently with suitable authorities at least to bring to their attention.

Every EP application at the moment is going through the same stringent rules of screening, these efforts are taken to provide a clean employment opportunity for locals and expats. As much as it’s troublesome, there have been umpteen cases where fake certificates and credentials have been submitted. And with the recent tensions, I don’t think it’s advisable to take up anything with MoM on these issues. Your disappointment with RMI or EEcheck is justifiable and you can always leave a feedback on social forums for the same. MoM is just following a proper screening process to filter out the fake certificates or applications which are dubious.

True that, I think we all know it’s fair to verify a candidate and their educational or work experience history, given that fraudulent cases have emerged.

kaushikpal12

I fully agree also
Hope the verification agency can leave a current status of each case where that is and what is holding up kind of status will solve all problems
All round transparency will help everyone the customers knowing where the issue is, vetting agency by not getting unnecessary communication and MOM as the nodal agency can check status anytime

SSk1986

When I had to submit my verification report, my actual date for submission of the report was 2 weeks later from the 1st communication from MoM. There was no way we could expect the report to be available so soon. I requested for a extension and my lawyer was able to get extension for the submission not once but 2 times. On the whole I got an extra 6 weeks fo the submission. So if you’re worried that the report might not be available by a particular date/time (mentioned by MoM), you can always request for an extension for the submission date.
