Sell/throw out furniture - leaving Belgium

Post new topic

Revanth123

Hello all,
Could anyone let me know where I can throw/sell off all the furniture, I have ? The landlord doesn't want to keep it in his apartment, after I vacate.

Thanks and Regards,
Revanth

You should be able to leave it at the kringwinkel's that normally sell old furniture (better call first to check), or I guess you can post online on FB pages where people sell different things furniture included.

You also have the following:
TROC.com - there are many stores - some you can do consignment and/or they will buy directly
expat.com - you can place ads there

You can join buy nothing Brussels on Facebook. Things give very fast on this Facebook group.

Garage sales is not a super bad idea, neighbor will come for sure.
If you can do a small website with pictures of what you sell + price, you'll also increase your chance + all the other solutions already given in this thread :top:

Aren't you supposed to take that to containerpark and leave it there for a fee? The other alternative is to call the kringloopwinkel and see if they can pick it up for free (they normally do, in case they think they can resell it).

Moving and I have some furniture for sale, where can I post photos in case anyone is looking

In Mons there is an Emmaus community, so there could also be one near your place. If so, give them a call, say what you have to give and they will come and pick it up for free.
