How much does quarantine for a dog/cat in Mauritius cost? Hoping to hear from someone (who has moved their dog or cat from South Africa to Mauritius) how much the cost of quarantine boarding was. (per pet). Thanks in advance!

I am moving to Mauritius in December with my 3 animals and have used this company, IPATA. He has been very helpful. It says RS75 per animal. I find that just Mind boggling. In Australia it would be thousands…… I tried to add the image but it won’t let me. Happy for you to email me at ***

Note that the above is only the cost for quarantine per animal at the state quarantine facilities on the Mauritius side.

The much higher proportion of the cost will be what you pay for the actual teansport of your pets and to the pet export/import agents in your destination country as well as on the Mauritian side.
