Visas for Americans at the airport

Hi,

I have read an American can stay 30 days on a visa issued at the airport but then I read another site that said Americans get 90 days. Does anyone know whats true. I am thinking of having my mom visit me and its great if she could just pay 3KD at the airport and be done instead of me getting a visa for her. I would want her to stay longer than 30 days this is why I ask.

3KD is a visit visa for 3 months, at the airport for Americans. 3 months = 90 days.

pay 12KD for the HALA service and they will meet her and walk her right through everything...then bring her out to meet you...the VISA price is included

under the stairs at the arrivals part of the airport, right in the middle......just look for all the cute girls in the red and black outfits......all you need is the passengers name, flight, and arrival time.

The Hala meet and greet service is great.聽 My company arranged them for me both when I came to interview for my job and on my mobilization.聽 I highly recommend them.

They can breeze you through the lines a lot faster that you can do it yourself if you don't know the system.
