Have you considered moving down here and doing it up yourself? Outsourcing to contractors will cost you a unnecessary amount of money. If the bulk of the work is done then surely you can do the rest yourself. Wer building our own right now, it鈥檚 hard and takes time but Wer saving heaps! Headed to Belize w a friend in August. He is an older farmer and mentors me on many things I鈥檝e wanted to do since I was younger such as growing food, hunting聽 and building. I鈥檓 mostly into growing food / permaculture, also off grid living / alternative building. We will be in Belize for two weeks to move my project forward. I have a feeling if I don鈥檛 sell the property I will return to complete or at least work toward it. I know it takes time. Where else do you have land? I was thinking of Mexico and also Brazil! Ghana is on my mind as well. Anyway鈥� thank you so much for the encouragement! Are supplies more expensive since the pandemic? Any thing we should be aware of in terms of building ? My cabin is up but I haven鈥檛 seen it yet because just as it was being built the lockdown occurred. It鈥檚 a decent looking shell. We plan to camp out on my 4 acres and work. Very excited! My property is on the market and I just received an offer that is basically what I was asking. I will decline and take it off the market. I deserve to climb the stairs of my humble cabin and see the view before I make any decisions like that. 馃檹馃徔 Can we keep it touch via messaging? Maybe we can visit your place or vice versa when we get there.

@Phillyman don't give up.聽 What kind of work needs to be done??聽 Where in Bullet Tree is your property.聽 I may be able to get you a contractor n CK on your property.聽 But if you have land you should claim n build upon it Especially if you have children.聽 It's a much better place to raise them then the US.聽
