Is there a good swimming pool around azaiba/ghala or al gubrah area
hopefully not too expensive

Hi Rayn987,

Try Majan Continental Hotel in Ghala.

Plus, there are many more around that area too since those areas are predominantly industrial, business, manufacturing-centric zones in Muscat.

So there are a lot of business hotels with swimming pools, which are not unaffordable.

This might not necessarily fit very well into "reasonably priced". However, try visiting the Intercontinental in Shatti, Qurum, they have some lovely facilities.

Note that entrance is about 10 OMR, but you gain access to all the facilities, including the 3 pools (luxury, kids, and sports), the basketball courts, squash courts, tennis courts, soccer pitch and a direct access to the beach just adjacent to the area (through a private entrance in the back). That said, if you subscribe to their membership package you get free entry. (those prices however, I do not know)
