Car Hire for our holiday

Post new topic

Gspot

Hi everyone, this is a great forum to get ideas for our visit to Mauritius.

We are looking foe car hire from 09/05/2023 - 30/05/2023.

Pick up point either the international airport or Mon Choisy  and drop off same options.

There are many online hire companies but would like to support small businesses.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

Hello

I ve got a nice experience with mauritius rentacar

Very cheap prices and good services, i collected the car in good condition at Tamarin and return it at the airport at same price.

I paid 22 euro per day for a small automatic car year 2018 with 84.000 km

You can book online on their website  mauritius-rentacar.com

Hope it will help.

Enjoy Mauritius, it is a paradise island.

Awesome, thanks John.

I had used Pingouin in July 2022. Picked up at the airport and returned it there. It was easy.

Do check the car thoroughly before accepting it and photograph everything. Check your payments because there are some reviews regarding extra charges, but it was not a problem for me. I think I paid online 25% initially and the rest on pick-up.

Enjoy your visit.

@Gspot Hi, we have a very good experience with online car rental website rentacarmaurice

they are very accessible and attend our requests all the time. they did not ask us for deposit and full rental payment made if car is delivered to our satisfaction. this is a unique car rental service. The price for economy cars is 19 euro per day with no other charges and they provide deliveries anywhere on the island at no additional cost. our advice : they have lots of bookings better make early reservations.
