Please read my long first post in the thread "How long will my work pass (EP, S-Pass, WP) application take" to understand the process and timelines.

The process takes 6 - 8 weeks on average, and there is nothing you can do to speed it up. That others are approved faster does NOT mean you will, too. "No record found" means your application hasn't been entered into the system and thus the process has not yet started - possibly because the application is deemed incomplete.

Employer says the Application is complete and the supporting documents also submitted 3 days before, but  still it shows No record found In the portal.

@Suresh Kumar49 Hi, this is same case to mine. It is shown with "no record found" since 2 weeks ago although the employer has sent me the application snapshot. This is probably due to MOM's peak season, and may have a problem to update the system.

Best way to know your application status is from your  employer. Good luck!

Just in short: Work permits ("passes") are applied by the employer. And accommodation is not usually included.

process will take minimum 3 weeks. If they ask additional doc, they wont check immediately, that can also take another 3 weeks. So lets say application submitted today, they took and processed it in 3rd week, they found out some missing document and asked you to submit, now when you submit, again it goes to same pool and they can respond around 21st day... different factors are there... for exmple, your offer is from a startup and you are the first EPass person, then they can ask proof of money for paying you for next 12months (from company side..) etc... so again depending on purely company + your salary/job

@Ann1990 in my case, I worked in Singapore for 4 years and i left because of pandemic. I have tax balance and my company applied my EP without paying my tax balance (for the reason they want to know if there is any problem aside from tax). Of rejected, and the reason is just tax balance, they will pay and appeal.

How long will it take?

applied : april 18

may 8: still pending (waiting to be rejected)

@leanniesantos have you checked credit report? Is it showing anything w.r.t pending payments/liabilities?

May 08 - invalid or rejected (after 21 days) due to tax balance.

they will appeal.

@leanniesantos What is the point of applying or appealing if you aleady know that it will be rejected? Just pay your tax dues (which sooner or later you'll have to anyway) and then apply!

@beppi  because the company wants to know the reason of rejection is just only tax balance. They want to make sure because they will be the onw who will pay. Anyways, appealed done. Now on pending status again waiting for approval.

@leanniesantos The application is rejected as soon as they find ONE rejection reason - and the subsequent ones are not checked further. Thus, if yours is rejected for the tax issue, you can still NOT be sure it was the ONLY rejection reason - those will be checked on appeal after you paid your tax.

Thus this approach is just a waste of time (and MoM's resources, which will be counted against you!).

@leanniesantos On average 3 - 6 weeks, but depending on the individual circumstances it can be faster or longer.

@leanniesantos hi may i know the status of your epass approval? Mine was applied 19 of april then after a week they requested additional docs and until now still pending how about you?

@Ann1990 hi can inhave your advice? They applied my epass april 20 and 2nd week MOM ask for addtl docs like proof of previous employer and bank statement. Until now still pending. Normally how long it takes for approval. Im spass for almost 6yrs. Its my first time to apply EP in other company
