Departing Cancun

Post new topic

I am a US citizen with a Residente Permanente visa. What is current process for departing Cancun airport

My last experience three years ago, I first had to obtain a completed and stamped exit form from INH  prior to checking in at airline.

I have read there is a different procedure returning to MX. Has the exit procedure change?

At checkin at the CUN airport we told the airline employee and show our permanent residence card. He took note of it and told us to go to the IMM desk on same checkin level at airport. The imigration agent chrck our boarding oass+perm res csrd+passeport then stsmp our passeport and typed domething in his computer.

Took about 1 minute

Thanks. Your boarding pass, was it issued by ticket agent prior to  going to INH?  Was it necessary to return to check in?

We use the kiosk to print boarding pass and baggages tags at bag dropoff we told the agent we were res perm he told us to stop at IMN just across the hall,
