bilingual pre-schools (English-French) and quiet neighborhoods

Post new topic

Movingtobrussels

Hi, I'm due to move to Brussels with my son next spring. I'm mostly interested in getting advice on bilingual pre-schools (English-French) and quiet neighborhoods. As I'm a single mom working near the EU institutions (but nor for), I'm looking for a reasonable commute between school and work. Also, the school my son is currently attending in France is not what I thought it would be: super strict and not in a constructive, kind way. I really do wish to find a good, caring school in Brussels, where he can thrive and learn to enjoy learning! Many thanks for your advice! And a happy new year to all :-)  -- Sophie

Then, speak to them English at home, and let them go to a state school and learn French.

Thxs, my choice though is to put him in a bilingual preschool to learn English (not crazy expensive and not too far from the city center), if anybody here has recommendations. Many thanks

@Movingtobrussels Bilingual schools are really expensive, the only one i can think of that is not too expensive is tutti -frutti primary school.  Check out this site for a list of schools in brussels
