Marriage of two religions - Muslim and Christian

Post new topic

Hello,

I am a 24 years old European Christian woman that wants to get married to a Saudi Muslim man 26 years old.

How many ways there are to obtain Saudi marriage certificate without waiting him to become 40 years old or me to convert to islam (because i believe this must be choice of the person)?

Also how can i become citizen of the country without giving up my Bulgarian passport?

I need law information with the clauses and ways!

Thank you all!

Hi there, I am a saudi legally married to a british national here in KSA below are my comments

  • The process for applying for marriage differs if you are a resident of KSA (iqama holder) or not.
  • The minimum age for the saudi man is 30  not 40
  • Depending on the reviewer of the document they may or may not ask you to convert to islam
  • Your husband will be asked to sign a declaration / understanding that you will be unable to obtain the nationality through marriage

Hope this helps goodluck

Before visiting a specific country, it's essential to thoroughly research its visa requirements and any necessary permits. Once you arrive, it's advisable to communicate with the relevant government authorities to understand the procedures for your visit. Engaging in dialogue with government officials can provide valuable insights into local regulations, customs, and any documentation needed for your stay. Additionally, discussing these procedures with your life partner can ensure that both of you are well-prepared and informed for the trip.

Regarding point number 3, there is nothing in the rules that stipulate a non-muslim women must convert to Islam to marry a saudi and the reviewer can not impose such a condition.
