Requirements to visit Ecuador

Post new topic

HENRY L. BEE JR

Hello 👋 I'm Henry, from Liberia.

I wanna visit Ecuador 🇪🇨 anytime soon, but I wanna know the requirement.?

Thanks

OsageArcher

You will need a way to get to Ecuador.  Travel via airplane is likely to be much easier than by boat, although that's the way I first came to Ecuador some time ago.

Other than that there do not appear to be any requirements out of the ordinary, just the same requirements/suggestions for any traveler going anywhere - you need a suitcase/bag for personal items, some extra clothes (although those can be bought in Ecuador), and money for food, entertainment, and a place to stay.  You do not need a visa to visit Ecuador according to this page if you have a Liberian passport, and no government-granted permission is needed, either:

There are plenty of websites for this type of information but I wouldn't suggest getting it from random people on here, it might not be reliable.

You do not need a visa for visits of up to 90 days, you just need your passport.  But don't trust me, do your own research.

Here is one source:

However, I would suggest going directly to the government websites to verify information, and do not trust links someone else gives you.  They are easy enough to find.  You know how to spell Google and Ecuador.

I do not believe this is accurate information unless you are traveling on one of a number of select passports.  Best bet is to contact the Ecuadorian embassy in your country as people here are unlikely to know visa requirements/etc for any countries other than their own and I know nothing about the requirements for Liberian travelers.

I also know nothing about requirements for Liberian travelers.
