Temporary residency expiry date

Good afternoon all,

could someone please advise鈥�

my mothers temporary residency expires on 7/1/25.聽 Can she travel back to uk on the 7th or does it have to be on the 6th? She shall only be out the country for 3days and travelling back to Malta under the 90 day Schengen rule whilst sorting renewal.

Just a debate we鈥檙e all having鈥� as it expires on the 7th is she still able to be here and fly out that day? We can鈥檛 jeopardise her chances of renewing.聽 Longggg story!!!!!
